What makes this game stand out from others in the genre is that more than half of the Ter'Angreal you can collect are supportive or utility-based, and due to their consumability, they provide an ever-shifting playing field, where you have to meet each new situation with new tactics and abilities depending on your resources at hand. This helps create a dynamic sort of gameplay which continually changes throughout the campaign. That combined with compelling and unique multiplayer modes such as Citadel (a base-building strategy/FPS hybrid), The Wheel of Time has a lot to offer those looking for a hidden gem from the shooters of old. Let's take a look. HOW TO PLAY: Here's a fan website that will help you get the game set up on modern systems if you're interested: http://wheeloftimegame.webs.com/ I got the game to run near-perfectly when I set the EXE file to run in Windows XP (Service Pack 3) compatibility mode, with "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings" checked (IMPORTANT). ---------------- PATREON ► https://www.patreon.com/IndigoGaming TWITCH ► https://www.twitch.tv/indigogamingchannel TWITTER ► https://twitter.com/TheIndigoGaming FACEBOOK ► https://www.facebook.com/IndigoGamingChannel/ --------------- MUSIC CREDITS: Living Voyage by Kevin MacLeod Foreign Land (Sting) by Jingle Punks Court and Page by Silent Partner Constance - The Descent by Kevin MacLeod Faceoff by Kevin MacLeod Interloper by Kevin MacLeod Into the Depths by Jingle Punks Metaphysik by Kevin MacLeod
