Today I'm making the hinge pins for all of the prosthetic hands that I'm planning to make using the Grant funds that I received from OSV. I'm using 3/32" (0.095") precision wire from K&S. it is TGP which stands for Turned, Ground, and Polished. its within 0.0005" in diameter. for the current design of the fingers, there are 6 different lengths of pins needed. I ended up running an entire 36" stick of wire for each of the lengths. the big push right now is to get all of the standardized parts done before/ Brandon is traveling to the shop this weekend, I'd like to have as much of his device completed before he gets here as I can. I hope that you enjoy the video. lmk, thanks. Ian
