The Arthas Story - Episode 1: A Kingdom’s Promise

Before the Frostmourne, before the Lich King, and before the fall of a kingdom—there was a boy with a promise. In Episode 1: "A Kingdom’s Promise," we journey back to the early years of Prince Arthas Menethil. From his birth under the hopeful eyes of King Terenas II to the snowy stables where he bonded with his faithful steed, Invincible. This is a story of a young prince who believed that strength could save everything he loved. We witness his first meeting with Jaina Proudmoore, his rivalry with a young Varian Wrynn, and the brutal training under Muradin Bronzebeard that forged him into a fighter. But as the shadows grow longer in Lordaeron, we see the first cracks in the armor of a hero. Credits: Story based on "Arthas: Rise of the Lich King" by Christie Golden and World of Warcraft Lore.
