Prowler is an absolutely epic tool for security posture scanning of AWS sporting various CIS levels and internet exposed resources. I did research on how to run it in Lambda and create some custom Lambda layers. This is huge fun and huge learning. Lambda supports Docker so you can create also docker in Lambda deployments or ECS with a scheduled task. In the case of Lambda, I do recommend to used scheduled Eventbridge triggers.
