This photo, hidden for 80 years, exposed an affair and a potential sibling. Can I find them?!

Evening everyone! Sorry it's been so long!
Baby daughter #2 is nice and healthy and I am now back in the game. Lots of fantastic adventure ideas lined up for the next few months which I will speak about in an updates video next week, but for now let's sink our teeth into a juicy geo detective.
Nathan's mother's father set sail for New Zealand in WW2 and never returned, shacking up with a local woman and potentially starting a new family. We only know this because Nathan discovered a set of photos inside a naval award whilst going through his deceased mother's belongings.
If I can successfully geo locate the house in one of the photographs, there's a good chance we can find out who this woman was and potentially figure out if the child in another photo is a long lost sibling of Nathan's mother.
