If you’re wondering what happened here, I was stripping out the old plasterboard in this room and unnoticed there was some mouldy plasterboard behind the fuse box. I decided to turn the fuse box off, pull it off the wall slightly, then remove the problematic plasterboard. It all went well. Then, I decided to hoover up the mouldy plasterboard dust so turned the loose fuse board back on so I could get power into the vacuum. After that was all vacuumed up, I went to screw the fuse board back into the studs, forgetting to turn it back off before doing so. I know I am both very lucky and stupid for this one.
