In this episode of one minute game design we look at directing the players awareness or attention by manipulating the direction the player is looking. If you want players to see something you have put your hard earned game development time into, you can use the trick of restricting the players view direction with things like corridors, walls, climbing sections and other things. This is a level design tip also that can help with the environmental design of a space. Telling the story of a space using events and no dialogue is a common requirement in game and this player awareness game dev trick/tip is another addition tot he game makers toolkit.
