Et erindringsbillede i anledning af Prins Henriks fødedato, 11. juni 1934 fortalt gennem TV-reporter Karsten Kjærs rejser med prinsen, interviews og optagelser i vinmarkerne på Château de Cayx i det Frankrig, hvor han voksede op og elskede at opholde sig livet igennem. Vi oplever Prins Henrik på jagt, til hest - og fortælle om fransk gastronomi og krydderurterne han introducerede til Danmark og danskerne. Optagelser fra bl.a.
