Please note NO generative AI was used in this video, or any of my others. I spend months making them using Blender. It’s wonderful, free, open-source 3D VFX software (I highly recommend it!). I use motion capture to record my own movements and the face inside the helmet is footage of my own face projected inside, it’s not always perfect but as with all my VFX I’m gradually getting better at it. Just watching my videos is already a wonderful way to support what I do, but if you’d like to support my approach to science education further or you believe like me that creativity isn’t a problem that needs fixing with AI, you can join my Patreon for free: https://www.patreon.com/epicspaceman I share much more of the behind-the-scenes process there and paid members can even appear as astronauts in future videos. 🌍 Support & Social Youtube Subscribe – https://www.youtube.com/epicspaceman?sub_confirmation=1 Instagram – https://www.instagram.com/epic.spaceman/ TikTok – https://www.tiktok.com/@epic.spaceman Website – https://www.epicspaceman.com/ I travel from the surface to the deepest point in the ocean on the Titanic’s anchor in real time, exploring what happens as we descend nearly 11 kilometres to Challenger Deep in the Mariana Trench. Along the way, we experience the scale of planet Earth, using science and engineering to uncover the wonders of the Universe hidden deep underwater. Watching out for mysterious monsters lurking in the deep, from megalodons to anglerfish and giant squid. As with all my videos, the 3D visuals were created using Blender, wonderful free and open-source VFX software, no generative AI was used to make this video. Big thank you to @melodysheep for the opening/ending music and Aiden Jones for helping me animate the giant squid attack!
