This video is a collection of simple neural cellular automata I found while playing with my new website, https://neuralpatterns.io. Every pixel looks at its immediate neighbors and computes it's next value using a convolution algorithm, which is explained more in depth on the website. I am planning a follow up video that explains the algorithm more in depth. Stay tuned! I had a ton of fun making neural patterns, and encourage you to play with it yourself. Many patterns are not friendly to video compression, and look much better on the actual website.
