Really makes me wanna check out the anime! I've heard it's a fun time! For the remix this time around, I stuck to the basics when I usually make a house type remix! However, I decided to use that sharp attack sound design trick I recently learned and made the chords in the chorus hit harder whenever they had fast patterns. I was really happy with the sound I was able to achieve using this technique and I'll continue to try to innovate my sound design in the future with it! For the drop section, I took the same concept but split the bass sound design to have the bass eq section dedicated to a saw bass and have another couple of synths dedicated to the mids and highs. I did this to have the bass frequencies full while I could do a lot more interesting stuff with the mids and highs like play melodies and do different sound design fills. Again, I used the hard attack trick here to let my sound design cut through the mix! The 2nd half of the drop goes into a breakbeat section with lots of plucks being introduced! I made this section with playing the track live in mind. During my AX show, I took the different plucks and assigned them to a pad on my Roland SPD-SX so that way I could play that section of the drop however I wanted! It turned out really cool in a live setting and I can't wait till I get to play this song again at a future show! Huge show out to Takara and Nyamai for pulling through with the awesome vocal performances! They made this track really shine in the end! They also blew away the rap section too!!
