Metaphor: ReFantazio is a game much beloved by Oliver, with John recently dipping into it for the first time - so it was with much interest that the duo checked out the Nintendo Switch 2 port in its demo form. And there's good news and bad news: TAA-based upscaling, potentially DLSS, is used on Switch 2 and it delivers some clear image quality advantages even over PS5 - but at rest, a bug is present that looks like a bizarre 2560x720 presentation docked. It's a bug that should be fixed - and hopefully bringing attention to the problem will see that happen before the game's official launch.
