Time limits in games can be divisive. But just because it's easy to make a bad timer, that doesn't mean they're all bad. Timers can do wonderful things in game design, but you have to use them smartly. I've lined up a bunch of examples of good timers in games, so let's talk about how to spice up a time limit!
