In this project we can see some examples of what is possible with this system. It's suitable for human skin, eyes, glass pieces, different kinds of ice, wax stuff, dirty water... It consists of 2 different systems: Sub-surface scattering and translucency. SSS works on the object's surface, but translucency works in the interior of the object. It convolves the pixel behind the surface according to the internal deepness, refracts with optical dispersion, attenuates visibility according to the media turbidity... Many features have been taken into account to achieve a realistic result. In some of these examples, they are combined (fetus egg or torus knot skin ball). This won't be sold on the asset store :) Ice dragon: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j7YE90K1lzo&feature=youtu.be&t=1m14s Fishbowl https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j7YE90K1lzo&feature=youtu.be&t=1m49s Human Face https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j7YE90K1lzo&feature=youtu.be&t=2m32s Stone sculpture with ice layer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j7YE90K1lzo&feature=youtu.be&t=5m17s Ice sculpture https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j7YE90K1lzo&feature=youtu.be&t=6m30s Iced water https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j7YE90K1lzo&feature=youtu.be&t=6m30shttps://youtu.be/j7YE90K1lzo?t=8m60s Plastic figure https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j7YE90K1lzo&feature=youtu.be&t=11m16s Turquoise https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j7YE90K1lzo&feature=youtu.be&t=13m27s Objects inside liquid medium + organic surface https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j7YE90K1lzo&feature=youtu.be&t=15m26s
