I drive solo across Northern Iraq and I would have NEVER imagined THIS

I have started to drive solo from France to Saudi Arabia in July, and I'm now overlanding the Northern part of the Republic of Iraq: the Kurdistan region and I'm blown away. It;s my first days overlanding through the Kurdistan region of Iraq with my Rottweiler Kena and my Toyota Hilux Rafiki. I get to visit a beautiful lake at the border with Syria, a Monastery, Assyrians' sculptures, the holiest Temple for Yazidis...on my way to the most epic mountains: the Korek mountains in Iraq. I would have never ever imagined discovering all this in Iraq...It's just incredible. Come with me!
