Why I gave up what I thought was my dream job as a helicopter pilot to pursue my real dream of becoming a full-time woodworker and educator. This was not a decision I took lightly. I spent over $70,000 becoming a pilot. Then spent 10 years moving around the country to gain enough experience to finally become qualified to fly for an emergency air ambulance company in the Pacific Northwest.
