It's good to be back and I've finally finished a longstanding project, "Shadows of a Halfwolf." The album is a remade, tweaked-up, and improved combination of both Casting Shadows and Halfwolf, adding some new stuff in too! Included in the new stuff is this Elden Ring song inspired by Vyke. He was a fellow Tarnished like us in the game, and stories say he got the closest anyone came before us. He was strong and undefeatable, but when his throne required a sacrifice, he could not make it. He needed to burn his own maiden to gain entry to the Erdtree, and instead he sought a flame of his own and lost her all the same. This song is his angry prayer to Marika, the guiding grace that led him to the tree expecting a sacrifice he would never make.
