10 year old Bharathanatyam dancer, Shankavi, has been dancing her way through lockdown. In this video, she explains how she's kept herself motivated during quarantine, including exercising as well as coming up with dance routines with her mother. Shankavi is one of my students. I’ve been teaching her Maths and English and it has been wonderful getting to know her over the past year. We’ve really bonded in a special way. I view her as my younger sister now. She even calls me ‘Anna’ which means older brother in Tamil. Filmed whilst socially distancing. A distance of 2m or more was kept at all times. #LoveYourIdentity Subscribe for weekly videos.
