Eton Rifles by The Jam is one of those classic Paul Weller guitar songs that everyone should have a go at — and it's actually pretty beginner-friendly! In this quick lesson we'll cover the main riff, chorus chords and the key parts you need to play through the song.
We’ll also look at Weller's trademark thumb-over chord technique, plus that brilliant almost Hendrix-inspired flourish towards the end. You don't need to play every note perfectly either — it's all about getting that energy and attitude of the original recording.
