My first ever Bloodstock Festival and what a weekend! I got the chance to sit down with some absolute legends of heavy music, including Mark Morton from Lamb of God, Andreas Kisser from Sepultura, Municipal Waste, Pat Sheridan from Fit For An Autopsy and more, talking all things guitar, riffs, gear, songwriting and how these guys actually learned to play.
There’s some genuinely brilliant guitar advice in these interviews, from Mark Morton on why he still considers himself a student of the instrument, to Andreas Kisser on the albums he thinks you should learn if you want to play heavy metal. Plus plenty of guitar geekery, ridiculous stories and a look around what might be one of the best metal festivals I’ve ever been to. Bloodstock — I’ll definitely be back!
