"Weird Al" Yankovic Gets Eye Surgery

I was tired of being virtually blind without my glasses, so on Jan. 23, 1998, I got LASIK eye surgery. I was scheduled to do the operation in a normal (private) way, but then I was informed by my doctor that he would perform the operation for free if I was willing to let a local TV station broadcast it LIVE on the air. Hey, what can I say, I'm a sucker for free healthcare. Thanks to Jon "Bermuda" Schwartz for this archival footage.
