Director's Statement:
The obsessive lover has always been a favorite movie trope of mine, seen in films like "Fatal Attraction" and "Swimfan." "Heartbeater" reimagines this character through a darker, supernatural lens: What if obsession doesn't end in death, but persists through the flesh of the deceased? What if your worst nightmare returned from the grave for one last date -- and this time, she's headless?
"Heartbeater" Credits:
Written and Directed by Rob Himebaugh
Produced by Luke Taccardi
Cast:
Caroline Quigley
Hailee Lipscomb
